This is an easy dal to make on a vegetarian night. It tastes good with rice and is my favourite Indian food! I look forward to my Tuesdays dal chawaal nights!

Moong masoor dal recipe is a very flavorful tasty, nutritious and healthy Dal recipe. It is a very good combination of moong dal, masoor dal 😃

-Oil ¼ Cup
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 - 1 tbs
-Tamatar (Tomato) 1
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tsp
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
-Masoor daal (Split orange lentil) 1 Cup (soaked 1 hour)
-Moonge daal (Split Yellow lentil) 1 Cup (soaked 1 hour)
-Pani (Water) 2 liter or as required
-Garam masala powder ½ tsp
--Hara mirch (Green chili) 3
Whole Red Chile –4
Ajwan --- 2 pinch
-Chicken Cube 2
